Incorporated in 1992, Loren Data Corp. continues to pioneer business-to-business and business-to-government electronic commerce. Approaching electronic commerce as a bilateral, cooperative system, Loren Data combines existing traditional EDI initiatives with its robust infrastructure.

The History

2005	Canadian EDI services provider, ProLink Services, selects ECGrid® for Interconnect routing.
	Healthcare supply chain leader, Global Healthcare Exchange, standarizes EDI connectivity to VANs with ECGrid®
2004	CovalentWorks Corporation integrates ECGrid® with their EDI outsourcing solution.
	ECGrid® chosen as VAN Interconnect provider for Trinary Systems, Inc.
2003	Covisint, L.L.C. selects ECGrid® for VAN Interconnect Services for their Covisint Connect data messaging services.
	SPS Commerce moves all interconnects to ECGrid®
	IBM contracts with Loren Data for ECGrid® interconnect services to U.S. Federal Government EDI network.
2002	Internet Operations Center contracts with Loren Data Corp. for ECGrid® service.
2001	SPS Commerce awards VAN Interconnect contract to Loren Data Corp. for ECGrid® services.
	Energy Services Group moves to ECGrid® for VAN Interconnects.
2000	ECGrid® provides VAN-to-VAN connectivity, allowing the traditional EDI infrastructure to support the rapidly changing and growing demands of eCommerce. This secure backbone routing system allows every EDI VAN, VAS, ASP, marketplace, and portal to seamlessly connect to the global EDI network using X12, EDIFACT, XML and any future standards.
1997	Loren Data became the first company to deliver a comprehensive Web-based reverse-auction portal, World-Wide EDI®, for business-to-government electronic commerce. This system was developed completely in-house and was certified by the U.S. Department of Defense to access the thousands of buyers on the Federal government's Electronic Commerce Infrastructure.
1995	Loren Data was the first to make the CBD freely accessible on the Web. To this day, Loren Data continues to have an international list of subscribers, a significant reseller channel, and the largest free archive of CBD publications on the Internet with nearly one million pages.
1994	Loren Data became the first company to publish customized e-mail subscriptions for the U.S. Department of Commerce's Commerce Business Daily (CBD). The CBD is the United States' centralized notification publication for contracts and awards exceeding $25,000.
1992	Loren Data was awarded contract F41999-92-C-6120 by the U.S. Air Force to develop an e-mail based automated procurement system, which became known as ECPS (Electronic Commerce Purchasing System). This was the first e-mail based procurement system ever developed and is currently in use at every Air Force base world-wide.
